  1. ELIGIBILITY AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Our programmes are postgraduate courses designed for qualified medical and health professionals. To use this website and to enrol in any programme, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Hold a recognised professional qualification in medicine or a health discipline, or meet the specific entry requirements for your chosen pathway as set out in the programme documentation
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction

By using this website or submitting an application, you confirm that you meet these requirements. The Academy reserves the right to verify your eligibility and to decline or withdraw enrolment where requirements are not met.

Career changers applying for the Dual Diploma Programme are exempt from the professional qualification requirement in Clause 2 above, subject to meeting the specific entry criteria for that pathway.

  1. ENROLMENT, DEPOSITS, AND COOLING-OFF PERIOD

3.1  Enrolment process

Enrolment is subject to the Academy’s acceptance of your application. Submission of an application does not guarantee a place. The Academy will confirm acceptance in writing.

3.2  Deposit

A deposit of 20% of the applicable tuition fee is required to secure your place in a cohort. The deposit is payable at the time of enrolment confirmation. Your place is not guaranteed until the deposit is received.

3.3  Cooling-off period and full refund

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of enrolment confirmation in which you may cancel your enrolment and receive a full refund of any fees paid, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel within the cooling-off period, you must notify us in writing by email to info@humanopathy.com before the 14-day period expires. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of your cancellation notice.

3.4  Cancellation after the cooling-off period

If you cancel your enrolment after the 14-day cooling-off period but before the programme start date, the following applies:

  • Your deposit is non-refundable
  • Any tuition fees paid above the deposit will be refunded in full

If you withdraw after the programme has commenced, no refund is due. The Academy may, at its sole discretion, offer a deferral to a future cohort in exceptional circumstances. Requests for deferral must be made in writing to info@humanopathy.com.

3.5  Workshops and short courses

Fees for standalone workshops, intensives, and short courses are non-refundable once the event has commenced. Cancellations received more than 14 days before the event start date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant with the Academy’s written consent.

3.6  Academy cancellation

The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a programme or event where enrolment numbers are insufficient or due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In such cases, all fees paid will be refunded in full within 14 days. The Academy’s liability is limited to the refund of fees paid and does not extend to travel, accommodation, or other consequential costs.

  1. PROGRAMME TERMS AND STUDENT OBLIGATIONS

4.1  Academic integrity

All submitted work must be the student’s own. Plagiarism, fabrication, misrepresentation, and any form of academic dishonesty are treated as serious disciplinary matters and may result in suspension or permanent exclusion from the programme without refund.

4.2  Conduct in live sessions

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully in all live sessions, community spaces, and communications with faculty, staff, and fellow students. The Academy reserves the right to remove a student from a live session or suspend access to community spaces for conduct that is disruptive, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.

4.3  Assessment and progression

Assessment requirements, submission deadlines, and progression criteria are set out in the programme documentation provided at enrolment. The Academy reserves the right to modify assessment formats where necessary, with reasonable notice to students.

4.4  Access to recordings and materials

Students have access to recorded sessions and course materials throughout their enrolled programme year. Following completion or withdrawal, access to live sessions and community spaces ends. Students retain permanent access to recorded content and course materials they accessed during their programme year. The Academy reserves the right to modify or remove specific content where necessary for legal, accreditation, or quality reasons.

4.5  Certificate issuance

Certificates and qualifications are issued upon satisfactory completion of all programme requirements, including assessments and payment of all fees. The Academy will not issue certificates where fees remain outstanding.

4.6  Suspension and exclusion

The Academy may suspend or permanently exclude a student for serious or repeated breaches of these Terms, academic misconduct, or conduct that poses a risk to other students or staff. The Academy will follow a fair process before taking any such action, giving the student an opportunity to respond. Exclusion does not entitle the student to a refund of fees paid.

  1. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

The Academy is committed to addressing complaints fairly and promptly.

Step 1: Informal resolution

Contact us at info@humanopathy.com describing your concern. We will acknowledge within 5 working days and aim to resolve informally within 14 working days.

Step 2: Formal complaint

If your concern is not resolved informally, submit a formal written complaint to info@humanopathy.com marked ‘Formal Complaint’. We will investigate and respond within 28 working days.

Step 3: Escalation

If you remain dissatisfied, you may escalate to the Complementary Medical Association (CMA) or, for data protection matters, to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

  1. FEES AND PAYMENT

Current tuition fees are set out on our website at humanopathy.com and in your enrolment documentation. Fees are quoted in the currency applicable to your region. The Academy reserves the right to update fees for future cohorts.

All fees must be paid in accordance with the payment schedule agreed at enrolment. The Academy reserves the right to suspend access to programme materials where fees remain unpaid and the student has not made alternative arrangements. Flexible payment plans are available on request. Contact info@humanopathy.com.

The Academy does not store card data. All payment processing is handled by a PCI DSS-compliant third-party payment processor.

  1. SCOPE OF QUALIFICATIONS: IMPORTANT NOTICE

The qualifications awarded by the Academy of Humanopathy are educational qualifications. They do not confer clinical licensure, practice rights, or professional registration in any jurisdiction. Graduates practise within the scope of their existing professional registration and qualifications. Students are responsible for understanding the regulatory requirements applicable to their practice in their own jurisdiction before enrolling.

The content taught within Academy programmes is intended to expand the professional knowledge of qualified practitioners. It is not intended as a substitute for conventional medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical care. All practitioners applying programme content in clinical settings must do so within their existing professional scope and in accordance with applicable regulatory frameworks.

University validation at RQF Level 7 is currently in progress. Until a signed validation agreement is in place with a UK university, the Academy’s qualifications are accredited by the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, the London College of Homeopathy, and the Complementary Medical Association. Students are encouraged to verify the recognition of these qualifications within their own professional framework before enrolment.

11.2  Medical disclaimer

Content on our website and within our programmes is intended for qualified health professionals as part of continuing professional development. It does not constitute medical advice and must not be used as a substitute for professional clinical judgement. Students and visitors are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it in clinical practice.

To the fullest extent permitted by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK law, the Academy’s total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to the Academy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss; loss of revenue, profit, or anticipated savings; loss of data; or loss of goodwill or reputation, whether or not such losses were foreseeable.

11.4  Exceptions: matters we cannot limit

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK law; or (d) any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

We will send you programme-related communications throughout your enrolment as necessary for the administration of your studies. These communications are a condition of enrolment and cannot be opted out of while you remain a student.

We will send you marketing communications only where you have given explicit consent at the point of registration or subscription, or where we have a legitimate interest to do so as an existing student or graduate. You may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting info@humanopathy.com. Withdrawal of marketing consent will not affect your receipt of programme-related communications during your enrolment.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites and do not endorse them. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and conditions.

  1. INDEMNITY

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Humanopathy Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your use of the website or our services; (c) any content you submit; or (d) your infringement of any third party’s rights.

  1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
