Humanopathy is the advancement of naturopathy. It takes the foundational principles of natural medicine and extends them into integrative medicine, quantum medicine and biofield science, bringing these disciplines together with Western medicine into one coherent clinical framework. The clinical practice of Humanopathy is called Humanopathic Medicine.
Humanopathy is taught by the Academy of Humanopathy, a London-based postgraduate institution that trains medical doctors, certified health professionals and therapists in this approach. Graduates carry the professional title of Integrative Naturopath, accredited by the Complementary Medical Association (CMA).
Humanopathy in one sentence
Humanopathy is a whole-person clinical framework that starts from naturopathic principles and integrates homeopathy, traditional Chinese medicine, lifestyle medicine, psychology, nutrition, Siddha medicine and biofield science alongside conventional medicine — not as an alternative to Western medicine, but as the part that completes it.
How Humanopathy differs from naturopathy
Naturopathy is a healthcare system that works with the body’s natural ability to heal, drawing on nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle medicine and physical therapies. Humanopathy builds on that foundation and goes further. It adds:
- quantum medicine principles,
- electro-photonic science and biofield assessment,
- psychology and neurolinguistic programming (NLP) in patient care,
- homeopathy and traditional Chinese medicine,
- and a structured method — Humanopathic Medicine — that integrates all of these into one clinical evaluation of the person.
Graduates therefore do not simply become naturopaths. They become Integrative Naturopaths trained in a methodology that goes beyond what conventional naturopathic training covers.
How Humanopathy differs from integrative medicine
Integrative medicine combines evidence-based conventional medicine with complementary disciplines such as nutrition, psychology, traditional Chinese medicine and lifestyle interventions. It does not replace Western medicine; it expands it. Humanopathy shares this starting point and adds biofield science and quantum principles, with the aim of building a complete clinical picture of the person, not just the condition.

The eight disciplines of Humanopathic Medicine
The Academy’s Postgraduate Training in Humanopathic Medicine covers eight core disciplines, each taught by a practising clinician or researcher:
- Psychology and Neurolinguistic Programming in Patient Care
- Lifestyle Medicine
- Electro-Photonic Science and Biofield Assessment
- Foundations of Homeopathy
- Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Integrative Nutrition
- Siddha Medicine
- Humanopathic Medicine — the live capstone, taught by the Academy Director, Dr Nikos Chatzibalassis, ND, PhD
Who practises Humanopathy?
Humanopathy is practised by graduates of the Academy of Humanopathy’s postgraduate programme. They include medical doctors who integrate the Humanopathic methodology into their existing clinical practice, certified health professionals and therapists, and career changers who enter through the Dual Diploma pathway with the London College of Homeopathy. The Academy currently trains practitioners across fifteen countries.
How to train in Humanopathy
- Programme: Postgraduate Training in Humanopathic Medicine — one year, fully online, approximately 5–7 hours per week.
- Qualification: Postgraduate Diploma in Humanopathic Medicine (medical doctors) or Postgraduate Certificate in Humanopathic Medicine (health professionals and therapists).
- Professional title: Integrative Naturopath, with eligibility for CMA professional membership.
- Accreditation: Complementary Medical Association and Hahnemann College of Homeopathy; academic collaboration with the London College of Homeopathy.
- Career changers: the Dual Diploma Programme adds a second year with the London College of Homeopathy.
Is Humanopathy a licence to practise medicine?
No. The Academy’s programme is a postgraduate educational qualification, not a clinical practice licence. A graduate’s ability to practise depends on their existing professional registration and the regulatory framework of their country. Licensing rules vary by country.
