Celebration of Homeopathy Gala, One Marylebone
Dr Nikos Chatzibalassis, ND, PhD · Founder and Director, Academy of Humanopathy

The Academy of Humanopathy stand
There are evenings that stay with you. Friday, 17 April, was one of them.
Homeopathy UK hosted their Celebration of Homeopathy Gala at One Marylebone, one of London’s most striking venues. A beautiful room. A carefully curated evening. And a guest list that brought together some of the most respected names in homeopathy and integrative medicine alongside supporters, practitioners, and people simply curious about the field.
HRH The Duke of Gloucester

HRH The Duke of Gloucester inaugurating the evening
HRH The Duke of Gloucester attended to inaugurate the evening. Rare artefacts of Samuel Hahnemann were on display, offering a rare and personal connection to the origins of homeopathy. The history in that room was palpable. It was not a conference. It was a celebration. And the field needed one.
Speaking with HRH The Duke of Gloucester was a moment I did not expect. He was genuinely curious about the Academy of Humanopathy, what we teach, who we train, and where we are going. Enthusiastic, even. He asked real questions and he listened carefully. For someone building an institution at the intersection of integrative and conventional medicine, that kind of interest from someone in his position carries real weight.
Connections That Matter

Introducing Homeopathy, the film
I had a wonderful time talking with Gary Smyth, the Immediate Past President of the Faculty of Homeopathy, and Annie Smyth. Warm, thoughtful people with a genuine connection to this work. I had some very nice talks with Dr Saurav Aurora, my dearest colleague from the LCH, and with Christofer Durkin, the President of West London Chamber of Commerce. The kind of conversation that goes somewhere real and leaves you with more than you arrived with.
To Monica Price and the entire Homeopathy UK team, thank you. You built an evening that did justice to this field and to everyone in it.
A Connection With the Faculty of Homeopathy

With colleagues from the Faculty of Homeopathy
I also made a meaningful connection with the Faculty of Homeopathy that evening, a relationship I intend to build on. The Academy and the Faculty share the same conviction. Homeopathy deserves serious academic standing. The people who practise it deserve proper professional recognition. There is more to do together, and this was a good starting point.
And Then the Music Started

The Academy of Humanopathy at One Marylebone

The photo booth. The part nobody photographs and everybody remembers.
And then the music started. People danced. The room that had been full of professional conversation and purposeful networking became something warmer, more personal, and frankly, more fun. That shift is the part nobody photographs, and everybody remembers. It is also, I think, what makes the homeopathy community different. These are people who genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
