Foundations of Homeopathy

Our homeopathy course teaches medical professionals the principles and practices of homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy is based on the concept “like cures like”: a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can treat similar symptoms in a sick person when properly diluted. This principle was first mentioned by Hippocrates in “Περί τύπων των κατ’ άνθρωπον” with “όμοια ομοίοις εισίν, ιάματα” and later developed by Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of modern homeopathy.

The course teaches doctors how homeopathy works: how different remedies function, how patient personalities relate to remedies, and how to identify root causes of disease. You’ll study the philosophy of Hahnemann’s Organon, essential remedies for first aid, and the connections between personality, remedy kingdoms, and disease manifestation.

This course doesn’t provide homeopathic accreditation. It’s a starting point for understanding homeopathy and thinking about disease differently.

Course Structure

The course covers homeopathic philosophy, case-taking methods, and practical applications for acute and chronic conditions. You’ll learn the vital force concept, miasms, Hering’s Laws of Cure, remedy selection, potency determination, and repertorisation. The Materia Medica section teaches you to match remedies to physical, emotional, and mental symptoms. Specialised modules cover pediatric care, first aid, pain management, and tissue remedies. Case studies and follow-up protocols teach you to apply this in practice.
