Foundations of Homeopathy

Our homeopathy course is an education program that focuses on the principles and practices of homeopathic medicine. Homeopathy is an alternative medicine system that originated in the late 18th century. It is based on the idea that a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can be used in diluted form to treat similar symptoms in a sick person. This concept, “like cures like,” was first introduced by Hippocrates in his work “Περί τύπων των κατ’ άνθρωπον” mentioning that “όμοια ομοίοις εισίν, ιάματα» and later became the work of Samuel Hahnemann, who is considered the founder of homeopathy.
The aim of our course is to provide doctors with essential understanding and knowledge of Homeopathy. This will help them understand the different remedies and how a patient’s personality is described from these remedies. The course covers the philosophy of the Organon of homeopathy with the guiding principles of homeopathy enunciated by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, and some essential remedies for first aid use.
It is important to note that our course is not meant to give homeopathic accreditation. Rather, it is a tool that guides doctors to better understand the connections and root cause of a disease based on the information they have about the personality and the kingdom of the remedy. It will help open their vision to understanding the way the disease is manifested, and it is a great starting point to explore the magnificent world of homeopathy.
Course overview: This course provides an in-depth exploration of homeopathy, covering its fundamental principles, case-taking methodologies, and practical applications in treating acute and chronic conditions. Participants will learn the philosophical foundations of homeopathy, including the vital force, miasms, and Hering’s Laws of Cure, while also gaining hands-on experience in remedy selection, potency determination, and repertorisation. Through detailed study of the Materia Medica, homeopathic pharmacy, and therapeutics, learners will develop the ability to apply individualized treatment strategies. Special focus is given to paediatric homeopathy, first aid applications, pain management, and the use of tissue remedies. By engaging with case studies, follow-up protocols, and dosage guidelines, participants will acquire the skills necessary to practice homeopathy with confidence and precision.
